HOWDY HOWDY HOWDY! Im Tanner!

Random title, I know! So all I can start out with is thank goodness for warm weather! For about the last month I can honestly say that when people say they get depressed cause of the weather, they arnt lieing. Living in a place where you don't see the sun for months at a time actually does have a huge impact on you. All of you Farmington people wouldn't understand! I had gotten to the point where all i ever did was just sit in bed and watch movies. I'm not going to lie though, my bed really really really started to stink...too much sweat haha. And finally about a week or so ago I saw the sun, actually SAW it! Amazing huh? That whole day felt so good. And it was forcasted that the next couple days were suppose to be "warm" to, so the next day I became the new Tan. I got out of bed early, showered, did my hair all purrty and put on my SWEATSHIRT (yes i didnt have to wear my huge coat for the first time this semester). So with my new sense of purpose and my new look, I went to class and paid attention. It was exhilarating. Than to top it off, when i got home i did laundry, and spotlessly cleaned my apratment, including doing the mounds and mounds of dishes that had pilled up thanks to those that are going to remain nameless that never help clean up. OH ya! that was the same day that i looked and saw my amazing midterms that put me into a even better mood! Oh man what a good day it was! I also got to skate a little bit. (I still cant longboard cause all the roads are messed up from the stuff they use to melt the snow)
And than later that week, it was time for the infamous "Random Date". Thats what the roomies and I called it. The whole purpose of the date was to ask a girl you have never talked to before. So I asked a girl that is friends with matt (He introduced us while he was up here but I never talked to her). And i guess "friends" is a huge understatment. Matt was super super jealous that i had gone a date with her. She is what he described "the perfect girl". So in other wards he freakin wanted to date her but she was in a relationship up until like 2 weeks ago. Sooooooo anyway...friday after snowboarding i rushed home to get ready. I thought i was late but turns out so was ryan and mike. So we all had to shower, get ready, and make dinner in about an hour. We had what i liked to call a carribean style mexican food. It was tacos but for side dishes we had mangos, kiwis, and pineapples...I dont know...Ryan planned it. We all went and picked up our girls after that and came back for dinner. It was a blast! We all just sat there and talked and laughed the whole time, i dont think it was awkward at all. And britnee, the girl that i took, didn't say one word though the whole dinner. I felt bad for her haha. But after dinner we went to the bowling alley and did doubles bowling where it was you and your date vs the other couples. And it turns out that Britnee is super competitive. She got into bowling so much! it was a blast. The first game i did really good too, i got a 169. It felt way good. And we won both games actually. So the losing couple, Ryan and his date, had to make brownies for everyone else. We went back to the apartment and Brinee and i played a game of halo against each other, she swore up and down that she could beat me. Dont worry, i held my own. She did good though. And she left early to go do a project or something.
After she left, the other 2 couples stayed and we all played games. It was fun too. So in the long run it was definetly the best date ive done while ive been up here. Probably cause it was the only group date weve done. Saturday night, i went with ryan and mike and went and hung out with mikes friends. It was a blast too cause i was super hyper from a drink that ryan gave me. Than saturday night we stayed the night at alexs grandmas and we had to share beds. Alex and I stayed up all night talking about old times. It was fun. So all in all, definetly the best weekend I have had up here.
So as a sum up, still dont talk to 214. Still talk a ton to everyone back home. Think about snowboarding 24/7, cant wait to longboard. Text Mckenzie all the time (Mikes friend i meet) and can't wait till winter. Had a random root canal, have to go back on tuesday to finish it. Can't wait to see you all this weekend and love ya!
