As you all know, Dad / Kent took a biff on the ski slopes on Valentines Day. He was following Joseph and Tanner down the scary ski slope (black run) and did a jump, ripping the ligaments off of his knee cap, ripping parts of the bones with it. Ouuuuch! He immediately got up and skiied down the rest of the hill -- no silly little ski basket for my man. He didn't go into the doctor until I came home from Houston and made him an appointment -- Tuesday. They said he better imobilize it or else he could do more damage. Poor guy. This is the worst thing that has happened to him in our marriage. Even worse than the bad back he had when I had Ashley. Here I was having just had a baby and everyone was feeling sorry for my husband.
Anyway, he goes to see the Orthopedist tomorrow to find out what will happen and what they are going to do about it. All I can say is hurray for insurance.
